Lower Manhattan in Black and White

Today we embarked on a beer tasting cruise around the South Street Seaport. While aboard the cruise we sampled 6 beers from Kelso Brewery ranging from light to dark and all were tasty. As someone who visits New York more than occasionally I must admit that this was my first time at the piers and in lower Manhattan.

The view was amazing and I was lucky enough to capture some really good shots of the Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty and the city skyline. When we were finished with the cruise we wandered through downtown and the financial district taking in the sites. Again, I was lucky enough to capture some more interesting shots. Featured in this post is a small collection that I am very happy to share. Please enjoy and if you get the chance, head down to lower Manhattan and check it out.

  1. Beautiful shots! Lovely post. That second to last one of the Brooklyn Bridge is absolutely exquisite, but love them all. Marvelous!
